Next week trip. 8 days and 7 nights.
Going in PP, trying to decide to go either
1. Burke, Basswood, yumyum, Kahshahpiwi, sark, kawnipi, agnes, sunday.
2. Sunday, Agnes, Louisa, Mcewen, Kawnipi, Agnes, sunday.
Priorities.. fishing (trout, walleye), solitude.
Thanks

Both routes are great. If it were me, I'd go Kahshahpiwi because I like those lakes.
But for you, flip a coin. Either route will be great.

We've done routes that included each of your options; I'd go with Option 1. A disclaimer: we don't fish, so I can't compare the fishing potential of the options. And if the wind picks up as you're traveling south on Agnes, consider the lake chains west of Agnes (Reid, then the S chain to North Bay). Lotsa portages, but little wind.

Thank you for the recommendations. Sounds like Kahshahpiwi it's going to be.
We did the Man and Fall chain last year and loved it.
S chain from Agnes is great advise, did that in May this year and really enjoyed it, wouldn't mind at all doing it again.
Appreciate you gents.

The portage from Kahshahpiwi to Trant is tough (see Day Four ) but the pictographs and a wonderful campsite on Trant are well worth the effort.
