I'm planning to be in the Northwoods area for some Ruffed Grouse hunting late September through mid-October. I have a young Deutsch Drahthaar that hasn't been on any hunting trips. I would like to meet up for day hunt on the outskirts of the BWCA.

What do you have in mind? Camping or hotel/ cabin? East side or west side?

I'm parking my camper in Bemidji and normally drive to the areas I hunt. Usually, west of BWCA. I have done this for many years.

Keep us in the loop. There is a chance I’ll be traveling through the area around that time frame. I’ll be chasing birds somewhere.
