It seems to be hard to find concrete info on this anywhere. Is the Prairie Portage ranger station closed for the season already? Anyone know where to find the official dates anywhere?

I believe Prairie portage closes this weekend. In the past permits for camping were one via a self-issue station at the ranger station. Checking the reservation site today it appears that off-season permits are issued via computer reservation system and you print out the receipt and that is your permit.

You could call the park to double check.

Thanks. Just booked a one-night permit for this Saturday and during booking it said it was closed, but the confirmation email said to make sure I check in at Prairie portage, so I'm definitely confused. I'll probably just call to be sure.
