Hello All:

Has anyone out there actually camped at Clay Lake? We have a fly-out scheduled for pick up at Clay and was thinking about getting there a day early just to make sure we don't miss the flight. Powell Lake to the East would also be acceptable, just trying to find somewhere near our pick-up point.

Also, I've read the Greenwood Creek has some East to West current. In your personal experience, is it possible to travel from west to east to Clay on the Greenwood?

We've been Q tripping for more than 10 years now so experience isn't an issue.

Thank you kindly,
MB

Wow, you are really getting off the beaten path with those lakes. Never been there myself, and I am curious about what your route is to Clay. Starting at French? Going down to McKenzie and taking the Wawiag River?
