Some of you may have heard this already since the article is from late January, but Quetico park superintendent Trevor Gibb has moved on to a position with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources. Trevor is a great guy and has been a great leader of the park for 14 years.

Here is the article from Paddle & Portage.

Well, good for him, I guess. He’s moving on to an even more challenging space to supervise.

I’m glad he had so much good stuff to share about Janice. She was a very special person.

I remember him giving you and me some nice Quetico Park pens last June.

Thanks for sharing the article, I had not heard of Trevor Gibb leaving as superintendent. I remember talking to him a few times at Canoecopia, back when Ontario would send him to promote the park and also corresponding with him through email. A great guy and he was very helpful and willing to share information about campsites and fishing.

I also saw that park biologist Brian Jackson retired last year, so a few new faces managing the park now.

Thanks for you service and caring for Quetico, it is a gem.
So many Canadian Rangers and others have done such agreat job in protecting Quetico's deep natural heritage.
Thanks.
