Has anyone ever bushwhacked to Bubbles Lake from Bald Eagle Lake? My son thinks this would be a good adventure!

I can't imagine...it's a long bushwhack - a quick view on google earth and there's some evidence of an old road bed or snowmobile trail that runs close to it that you could possibly follow.

As Speckled hinted at, there may be an old logging road that may get you close.

I can't claim to have made it to Bubbles lake, but I have hiked some of the old logging roads that spur off (just after the bridge) of the Snake River portage. In fact, one has even been utilized as an extension of that EP trail. I've come across several spent shotgun shells back in that general area so, perhaps there is a possibility one runs close to Bubbles.

Hopefully they are not my spent shells. I always try and pick up my shells.
