This lake has always intrigued me that the DNR nets no fish. They reference a CCC survey from the 30's that makes note of Northern Pike, but the DNR has never netted any pike or lakers. It's a big enough and deep enough lake, with lakes upstream and downstream holding gamefish...are there really none in Kiskidinna?
I'm going to be in the neighborhood this fall and am planning on heading over there to give it a solid day's effort of fishing. Curious if anyone else has tried and had any success.

In the first week of June 2024 I fished Omega for a whole morning, right next to Kiskidinna. I know there's got to be fish in Omega, but I not only never got a bite, I never even saw evidence of a fish in about two hours. It was very windy with a cold front moving in, but I rarely get skunked fishing in the early morning. Not even a bite. Nada.
