I have always been a dry footer. Mainly because I hate wet feet in wet boots. But this presents a problem with canoeing with kids. How do you get them out of the canoe when you cant pull up sideways? Well after 5 years I found the answer! I got a pair of 29$ Tingley over boots. They are rubber, knee high boots that slide over my nice hiking boots. I then can wade right to where the kids are sitting and carry them out and to shore. Made for a very easy trip
