Why the life jacket has 2 I am not sure but the point of having any(float things at the head) is to keep his head well out of the water(choppy water). It looks like this life jacket would do a nice job of that.

Ya I know why the floats are there. I was wondering why there is 2, like maybe its better for waves or something?
