I have been looking and looking for ideas on sleeping and around camp for wee little ones and this is what I found. I was able to go to Baby's R Us and check it out. Looks like it will be a great addition to our camping gear. It has loops to steak it down and is very light weight. The dimensions when open are 47"L x 30"W x 19"H,. Should be able to utilize it for the first couple of years. Kidco Peapod travel bed

I plan on bringing this along as well which will be easily placed in the peapod during the day around camp for UV, bug and wind protection. Again very light weight and packable (completely folds in half). Comfort seat

the pea pod has been recommended a lot on the backpacking with kids forum. They came out with this after my kids were to old for it or I would have bought it myself.

we had a folding bouncy seat with a zip up top that ziped out bugs and sun. it fit right into a duluth pack

I searched the internet for the item you listed in a different thread regarding the bouncy seat with mesh. The one you had was manufactured by Eddie Bauer and they no longer make them. I did find one other. However, the reviews were not good and not to mention I was able to see it first hand and I would agree with the reviews. The positioner I mentioned does fold flat, very light weight and would fit in my Duluth pack.

mine wasn't made by eddy bower, I got it at once upon a child. It was blue and folded flat. The eddy Bower one was the only thing that looked close to it. Maybe they don't make it anymore?

Either way I heard good things about the pea pod

here are pics of the one we use to have

Yes and I am due July 3rd but planning a c-section for June 28th. Exciting-yes, Shocking-yes but a very welcome shock. My youngest child is 13. I am passing my time finding BWCA gear/items for the wee little one. I did find these moisture wicking onesies#. Significant price difference (approx 1/2 the price) from the Patagonia brand and its a one piece to boot :) Now, for my gear to fit when its time to go???
