EDIT: don't bother with this sleeping bag. it is of slumber party quality only. the fill is cheap polyester -- and there isn't much of it. the shell is cheap polyester. 20 degrees? maybe Celsius. there is no way this would keep a body warm at 20 degrees Fahrenheit. and it weighs 3 pounds, not 2.5. the brand is "kids brigade." i have no idea why gander mountain would want to associate their brand with this bag. stay away. mine is going back. and my daughter will be happy with a non-pink bag from ALPS of much better quality.
i haven't laid my hands on one yet, so i cannot attest to their quality, but -- based on gander mountain's reputation -- i'm hopeful that these sleeping bags are well-made.
Gander Mountain® 20° Kids Mummy Bag
$25 with free shipping is hard to beat. and 2.5 lbs.?!? that's crazy light for the price and temperature rating! i hope the published specs are accurate!
a pink one for my baby girl is on its way. i'll post a report when it arrives.

Nice! It looks good, online anyway. ;-)
I wish there was a smaller one than "youth" sized. I do have a youth bag (thanks to BWP) but for my 3-year old, it's still pretty long. For my 12-year old, it's just about too short (and narrow). She's almost 5' tall, and I think the specs are similar to the bag you linked to.
Oh well...I don't really need more gear, do I? If it ends up being really cold, I'll put our extra clothes in the bottom of her bag to fill up the extra space.

I like the looks of these better than the LaFuma kids bags we have for the girls. Especially at the sale price. My girls love pink. These would match their Pink CCS Rucksacks. Don't have money to replace something that works though... poor girls will have to live with their maroon bags:)
great link for those looking for kids sleeping bags. thanks

passed the link on to relatives with small girls... I get them for their Fall birthdays but hope they "need" them this summer and join us for a BW trip!
Let us know when you get it and how it looks!
