I found a new pasta product at Wally World. Pasta Portions from Creamette. It is a quick cook pasta. It comes in three mesh plastic bags. Just drop the bag in boiling water for three minutes. Pretty good. I tried it tonight.

Might be the ticket this year with some dehydrated hamburger and sauce. I think it sold for $1.25.

Yeah, it was Uncle Ben's. I bought it once and it was kind of slick. The pasta appeals more to me. I can see bringing some olive oil and some Italian seasoning and making a quick side to have with fish. Or adding a chunk of cheddar to it for some quick mac and cheese.

Sounds like handy stuff for a trip.

Thought I'd bump this. I could not find this product in 2012. It is back in our local HyVee store. No mesh bags just loose elbow stuff, but still cooks in three minutes. A fuel and time saver!

Ronzoni makes 3 styles of 3 minute pasta. Elbows, penne & spirals. No boiling bag.

Looks like the Ronzoni and the Creamette are one and the same. Even have the same website.

I'll never figure out corporate America
