I distinctly remember my first morning waking up in my hammock. My first thought was...wow...nothing aches. I didn't feel like I needed to shift around to relieve a sore spot or aching joints. I didn't budge. Amazing. Anyone else have this experience?

The first couple of nights I woke up with lower back pain then changed the angle slightly more shallow and also raised the foot end a bit higher than the head end. That did the trick and I sleep great now.

In a tent I wake up with all kinds of aches. Not so in the Blackbird.

That was the main reason I tried a hammock. To see if I could sleep better. No more sore shoulders, neck or hips.

Ditto to all the above!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wake up with no aches and feel refreshed. Swing your legs outs, plant your feet, stand up and away you go vs crawling out of a tent and trying to stand up and straighten your back. I have a Blackbird for outdoors and a Traveler for indoors. I know they are not for all, but they work! On my hammock site they are sometimes referred to as Bear Burritos, don’t believe it.

That's been true with me from the first night on. When on the ground, it takes me a good half hour to get in the vertical position. I have to take ibuprofen just to get out of bed. In the hammock, I just drop out the bottom into my boots and head for the Jetboil to make coffee.

I sleep well in both, but notice that I sleep longer in a hammock. This makes me believe that I get an even better night's sleep in them.

In a tent I toss and turn all night. In the Blackbird, I sleep like a baby (well, like a fat bald one that snores).

This thread sounds like a commercial with testamonials. Brandon from Warbonnet should have this link on his site. :)

My experience in dealing with Brandon at Warbonnett on five different purchases has been nothing but exceptional.

I've dealt with him on both of my purchases, and I second this.

I'm waiting right now on my second full set up. A 1.1 double with a MJ tarp. That's how much I like the 1.7 and SF tarp.

It took me a couple of nights to get used to the hammock before I truly slept better than in a tent.
