Author ~ Stephen Wilburs Pages ~ 160 Published ~ 2011
Essentially it's a collection of yearly journals spanning over three decades. The author also interweaves passages or quotes from the likes of Sigurd Olson & Ernest Oberholtzer among others. He also ties in significant historic events related to the BWCA that have happened over those years. But, mostly it is about how the BWCA has profoundly affected his life for the better. And, how it has strengthened many relationships in his life. Most noteably with his father. It's an interesting, educational, & heartwarming read.
I saw this one at Barnes and Noble....paged through it and thought it was interesting. I've had to force myself to (almost) never buy a book at cover price. I wouldn't be able to afford my BWCA permits if I bought every book I wanted. :)
