Great start to the report. Can't wait to read the rest. I did a trip w/ just my 7 year old daughter a few days before you and loved it. It was even better than I expected it to be.

Sounds like he's hooked. And, hopefully he doesn't lose that eagerness to do portages. :) Here's to many more father/son trips.
