GREAT trip report. It looks and sounds like your girls had a great trip! Hooking into a 4lb smallie as your first fish is probably going to scare you a little, but also hook you for life as a fisherman. Thanks for a great read.

Very special memories. You said it right, making the trip just a little too short leaving then wanting more. I am hoping to get my little ones out in the canoe this summer. Just short day paddles on the lakes by our house.

Loved it!! especially the trailer for the report. your girls did amazing work and seemed to always be happy with each other and with what they were doing.

Perhaps you could add one or two of their friends and get more kids introduced to the woods and waters and all that entails.
