That was AWESOME!!!
Great job putting that together. Appears you guys really had a great time w/great food. Sledding down the hill looked like an absolute blast. I was quite surprised how compact that stove packed away.
Thanks for taking the time to put this together & posting.

Nice job! You make it look doable to someone who's never done it before (me). That sled hill was great. Who says grown men can't have fun?
I liked how you spent the last night out on the lake. Nice way to do it. Are you a hammocker too? (the topquilt)
I love that stove. Perfect for a trip like that. Thanks for the post!

At about 07:18 in the video, there was a guy fishing with a longer ice fishing pole-what type was it? We are looking for one for our summer trips...
Also, what type of thermometer did you have?
Awesome video, made us sad we haven't made it into the BWCA yet this winter. Thanks for sharing your fun!!!

There's no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes.

Thanks for all of the kind words. We had a blast and everyone wants to plan another trip next year.
TomT: I am also a hammocker and attended the "frozen butt hang" last year when it was -19(F). I see you're a hammocker too. It's more comfortable but also has a technical aspect to it.
McVacek: The rod you're talking about is the Scheels Elite Ice pole and the thermometer is a Springfield Precise Temp that I purchased at Menards a year or so ago.

Although the one on the link says it only records temps down to -4F, mine goes much lower. I'm not sure if I have a little different model. Maybe its made for MN :)
