first impressions on the Condor bushlore
Although not very sharp out of the box easily touched up.
great feel, good handle, full tang
awesome leather sheath
carbon steel blade

Overall for 26 bucks this knife is pretty nice. If I could change one thing it would have a little grip on the handle. Mine is a hardwood handle and it seems a little slick.

Looks like a real bargain for that price!

Thanks for sharing that. I'll look for the specs online.
You could probably add a little mesh/fiberglass matt to the handle and varnish to improve grip.

I do have some kevlar at home that i could use but I may just file some grooves in the handle to give some grip

You can buy a hand checkering tool used for gunstocks for about 20 bucks. For what you have in the knife it might be a fun project.

I'm only gonna show you guys the better side ;) I just used the corner of a file and the first side didn't turn out as nice. It feels much more secure now

Very nice, I just picked up a Condor "Sapiens" model from Ragweed Forge. I think you'll enjoy that tool for many years, and now you made it...yours.
