very enjoyable trip! it IS nice to have the luxury of R&R days. sorry to hear about your back, hope you had it looked at when you got home.
thanks for the details about the campsites, and your work to spruce things up.
your trip is a good testimony of solo tripping for folks who think they'll get bored or just can't stand being by themselves for more than a few days.

Ha! I knew that campsite looked familiar...My dad and I spent two of our three nights at site 1KE during a short three day trip we did just a couple weeks ago. See trip report titled "Birch Carp - 3 Day Trip" posted a week or so ago. Anyway, nice report! Thanks for sharing!
