I'm thinking about a short trip into Sunday Lake with grandchildren but I need a little adventure--has anyone been into Anchor Lake--how were the portages, campsites, fishing?

I was in there about 3 years ago. Not hard to get into, I remember one campsite for sure and it was a dandy.

Fishing: We caught a few Pike, tried for some lakers with no luck.
I do beleive that it holds lakers and according to Bill Rom it holds largemouth bass as well.

If your looking for a great little side adventure from Sunday? Then go into Poacher lake from Sunday. Poacher was very good laker fishing
