I'm sure you panfish fishermen have seen these before

One of our neighbors goes to northern minnesota every year for two months and all he does is fish. He showed us pictures of him pulling out +20inch walleyes and huge sunfish, perch and bass.

A huge advantage to these poles is that they are <$20 and have no complex parts, such as a reel.
Also, they are very compact! [and they extend to about 12']

Is it worth it taking a bream pole to the BW?

I use them for pan fish only. Have landed a 12 lb. blue cat on one.
I have converted to a 10 ft. two piece rod with a shimano 1000 series reel.

I think it might be fun if you have a good drop off from camp. You could vertically jig for walleyes from shore. I think from a canoe it would be hard but not impossible.
