Mother Nature did the stone work, man did the woodwork at the Kekekabic trail crossing of Mueller Falls. The water chute is a bit more magnificent than the bridge, but the bridge is a marvel of back-country engineering. (Photo taken June 10, 2014)
So, how did the builders get the long wooden stringers (the wood that supports the deck and the railings) into the back country ? I assume that they had no mechanized equipment.... winter dog sled trip??
