I posted this in the private book club forum but thought I'd repost it here too. I'm a big fan of the author (for his Montana character studies) and got this one years ago and absolutely loved it. Here's a description The Sea Runners

I picked up "This House of Sky" in the mid 90's because I loved the title. Then I was so drawn in to the story it was amazing. I have since read four more of his western set books.

Yeah it's very good and I bet you can identify what they were up against.

I love this quote.
