You have lots of opportunity to honor ME. ;) In 2014, 1.3 million barrels of craft beer were exported out of California. That's more than the total craft beer production in 47 other states. Only PA and CO produced more than just what CA exports.

I keep my eyes open for something brewed in Minnesota so that I may honor most of you. What do you think is the biggest export brand based in MN? If I have a specific brand to look for, I might get lucky.

I'm not sure there are any breweries in MN that are distributing nationwide. We (August Schell) produce more barrels of beer per year than any other MN brewery and we're only in 8 states. Don't ask me to name them though.

Close but I'll have to stick to the cigars I already have. My daughter and son-in-law just got back from Colorado yesterday. They brought me a Breckenridge Brewery (Denver) ale. Two weeks ago, my wife was in Ohio. She bought a Great Lakes Brewing porter (Edmund Fitzgerald).

Because the state in question is Minnesota ;), I have to ask about pronunciation. Is Schell pronounced "shell?"

Did you guys know that I personally brew more total barrels of beer than anybody in the state of MN? The other brewer at Schell's comes close, but the rest of the brewers in the state don't even come close.

I'm really impressed.
