That's it. You should have no problem getting a permit, it's not a very popular entry. It's a beautiful area though. I entered there last spring at it was snowing. Here is the muddy entry.

My USGS map has it listed as "Lower Trout". Interesting typo on their part...

Yes, most likely one of those map misspellings that stuck. The DNR maintains a list with this and other name changes and misspellings here: Public Waters Name Changes. Kind of fun to peruse. The region has plenty of others too, not on the list.
