I had to express a hearty congratulations to my newest best friend Brett, master brewer at Disgruntled Brewing, right here in Perham, MN. I stopped by for the 'soft opening' yesterday, tasted the six beers on tap, and headed to a friend's Super Bowl party with a couple of his growlers. This guy is a perfectionist and certainly knows his beers. They were all pretty exceptional, especially the gose and the stout. He will have 8 year-round styles on tap and 3-4 rotating seasonals. He says he has 50-some recipes which will show up from time to time. It's a relaxed atmosphere in the taproom and bringing in you own food items is encouraged. Food truck arrangements are not out of the question for the future.
