Hi all! My family and I are going to Ely this week. We were going to go canoeing but now it looks like the weather might be tuning. With 3 kids I don't feet safe with them in the canoe in cold weather. So I need a fun day hike that isn't to hard maybe to see something cool (like a water fall or something). We have already done Bass lake hike and kawishiwi falls hike. Is there anything out there like that? I thought about Snowbank lake but I heard that trail has a bunch of trees down. Any ideas?

A couple more to add to your list:

Secret-Blackstone. Not too long and in good shape.

Angleworm. Also in good shape, but at approx. 15 miles might be longer than your interested in.
