Returned from Conmee through Sarah last week and found the following;

Ticks were almost nonexsistant(clothes were sprayed with permatone prior),seen 2 all week.

Mosquitos were bad up until we got to Sarah Lake, the Dragon flies were in too of large of numbers for them to be a bother from Sarah and to the North. It was the same thing coming back, the closer to the U.S., the worse they got.

Water levels were slightly higher, no big deal. The creek connecting Isabella to North Bay is passable.

And what about the fishing?

Had some trouble getting the Walleye to cooperate, otherwise fishing was great. Lake trout were 23'-25' down, in 52' plus deep waters.

Came out of Pickerel Lake 2 days ago on the N edge.... very few mosquitoes, black flies, and NO ticks. Beautiful weather but high winds. Great fishing on the lee side islands on the west end.
