My soloing days are over for awhile, my new girlfriend loves camping, hiking and canoeing as much as me and doesn't want me to leave her behind, and I'm ok with that, nice having someone who enjoys what we do and being able to show her new areas, I'm teaching her how to use a solo canoe also, hard finding gals like her, feeling blessed right now.

Hang on to her. You will have more fun with her then by yourself in my opinion anyways. I wish my wife would go with me.

Totally agree,

I love soloing but it is out of necessity or I would not get out, I would rather go with my wife most all of the time rather than go by myself.
She is my best canoe/camping buddy and we just click while together.
