I would rather be upside down in my canoe than right side up at my desk

Satch,
Nice pictures. The weather looked perfect for your trip. I'm still trying to get a bird to eat out of my hand. I've had Downey woodpeckers within about two feet on a branch but they won't take that final short flight to my hand. Oh well.

Nice! I love that trip. There are some great sites on Cherokee.
You must have been in the first week of October, because the second week was really warm.
Nice pictures, though I have to say that you and Dawson are getting old! :)

Great pictures. Looks like a fun trip. The site you show from Cherokee looks like where we stayed in June. Even if it isn't I fell in love with the beauty of that lake.

Again, great trip report.
Joy is a great teacher, but so is dispair. Wonder is a great teacher, but so is confusion. Hope is a great teacher, but so is disillusionment. And life is a great teacher, but so is death. To deny yourself any of those in any aspect is not experiencing life totally.
