This day we decided to head as far down Pickerel as we could so that in the morning of pull out we would have a short paddle. We make it to one of the last points on the north of the lake that looks like it has a sand beach and a bluff site for the tents just as the wind starts picking up. The beach is pebbly, but five feet out in the water is sand, a nice change from slimy rocks to stand on at most of the camp sites. We played Frisbee out in the water and had fun seeing how many leeches Noah could catch, or did the leeches catch him?
