Monday, July 23, 2012 Woke up to bacon, my favorite thing besides steak, that our master chef Jerry was cooking. After the meal some of us went swimming on the near-perfect beach!

when the swimming was over we did a little 3 men in one canoe shifting and headed out again with renewed strength to find where Amok had been. We decided to re-check a place we had looked at the previous day, since it was most likely the place based on the position on the lake it was at. As we matched up the pictures Ken had brought to the scenery around us it slowly dawned on us that we had actually found it! At last we were on Dad's site!

I was snapping pictures like crazy, and was dragged back to get pictures taken of me, and went down to the lower section to take more pictures as soon as I could! while I was taking pics of what was on land I heard others on top of the hill starting to scream "The Canoe!!" and before I turned around Jerry was at the bottom of the hill with Steven and they were getting the now floating away canoe back... I took pictures of course!!

After we had lunch we headed back to the beach site to grab our gear by going round Three-mile Island, like Dad had done. We saw the wolf point sites along the way, and an eagles nest with an eagle that stared at is as we paddled by!
I tried taking night pictures of the lake but it didn't work this night, so after looking at the stars, playing a card game and talking with others we all eventually drifted to our tents and went to sleep.
