11/06/2013 10:32PM Hey craig-there is an event called the winter camping rendezvouz in washburn cty, wi at sawmill campground, last year it was feb 8-10. Supposedly there are some decent little lakes to fish. I have no been before but if it fits my schedule might consider it this year. The canadians have a couple get togethers publicized on the wintertrekking website-one out east (sudbury?) and another near winnipeg. That being said i have always been interested in a meetup in the bwca...there is an event called the bushwackers jamboree iirc that they talk about over on the QJ website but that is a softwater season event. I might be interested in a winter meetup in the bwca but not sure when i will be squeezing in my trips this winter between a honeymoon and a march ski trip. tg |

11/06/2013 09:52PM I can't remember for sure, but I think there has been a winter group camp in the past. If there has been one, I havn't gone. However, is there any interest in doing something like that this year? Any good places, preferably one with ice fishing? Or should we just meet on a lake in the BW in January? |
