inches or more possible. The heaviest rain is expected to
fall late Monday night into Tuesday morning.
- Flood safety information can be found at
www.weather.gov/safety/flood.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor latest forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings.
Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take
action should flooding develop.

Portage and hiking trails may become slick and potentially
impassable and ponding of water could inundate low-lying campsites
across the Boundary Waters.

Visitors to area waterfalls should plan for wet and muddy trails and
be careful around rivers that will have slippery rocks, cliffs, and
strong currents
