Awesome report!!!! Thanks for sharing. Nothing better than spending time in the bwca with your kids. I take one of my daughters on a daddy/daughter trip each year and it's my favorite few days of each and every year.

I also love that area. My first solo trip was the Kawishiwi Triangle entering and exiting at EP 32.

Thanks for the info on Bruin Lake. My wife and I just had the unexpected blessing of a late baby (45 and 48) 7 months ago and he will be ready to be another tripping partner for me in a few years. His name is Bruin so I figure that a trip to Bruin Lake would be perfect for his 1st trip. From your report and other things I've read we will not camp on Bruin but will camp on the river and make a daytrip to Bruin.

Thanks for reading, we were out Monday-Thursday 6/24-27 so maybe it wasn't Sunday or not us? We also met a young family coming out at EP32 on Monday morning so maybe it was them. Hope you had a great trip as well, we thoroughly enjoyed ours!

Congratulations on the new little one, how exciting! That will definitely be a special trip when you do make it to Bruin Lake. Its a nice little lake we just could never find the campsite or the fish! We got a lot of feedback on where to take young kids from this forum and everyone who recommended EP32 was spot on, both adults and kids loved this trip and we would definitely go back.
