My favorite quote of the trip report:) I read this while sipping my first cup of coffee in the morning. Wow, great writing style and its great to hear you had a successful basecamping trip. Next time portion out the Spirits; two fingers a night, three fingers a night, or whatever. This will ensure some celebratory whiskey each night:) Yes, it is something special to receive a gifted pile of firewood when arriving at camp. Those that do this, well, they just understand. This is a personal rule for me, like sweeping the camp before final departure. I could also eat fried fish EVERY day and be happy as a clam. Thanks for sharing. JW |
