10/04/2012 06:40AM Sounds like a good trip. I recently did my third trip and it was the first time I cooked fish. What were we waiting for? Try steaming it aluminum foil, especially northerns, the meat slides off the bone. I hope you will be feeling stronger next year. Have a good off-season. |

09/20/2012 12:50PM Sounds like a great trip! We were in Quetico at the same time and can attest to the hot weather day and night! Glad you liked Wililams and Hall, we use them as well and they're great. A walleye dinner can't be beat up there! |

09/18/2012 10:06PM Sounds like a wonderful trip.Thanks for the trip report! I always love a bit of red wine and chocolate for dessert too. Just seems to make the perfect end to a day in the BWCA. Usually bring chocolate bars but will have to check out the weight watchers cake! |

09/13/2012 06:44PM Congrats on your first fish dinner. The blue barrels are a little awkward portaging but, as you have now found out, they more than make up for it once in camp. That feather carving is really cool beans! Thanks for taking the time to share your story & photos. |
