That was friggin funny man...the fawn part.
Strange way to make friends huh? I've been posting on the gear site looking for the best bdub kettle to use over an open fire and was hoping this tread had some ideas. Please post if you do.

You post in a Winter Camping Forum how bad you hate winter? That's akin to a fawn walking into a pack of wolves and asking them "what's for dinner?". Good luck.

Nice thing about up nort' with wood stoves is you can heat you beverage of choice on the stove top... Off the grid,, so to speak..

Hi Guys,
I am not a fan of winter. At all. I don’t like any winter sports I may laugh the first time we fly down a hill on a toboggan but after that I’m done and I definitely don’t enjoy shivering in -40 degree temps. As I write this blog post I’m sitting under a heated blanket
It’s no surprise then that, like many people, I drink more coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in the winter months by boiler hot water . Up until recently, I only boiled water in a kettle on my stove. I had no idea.How much more convenient easier and safer an electric kettle was?
