As we paddled out from camp into a dense fog, we were a bit anxious, but as the fog began to lift, the ever-increasing light gradually unveiled the incomparable beauty of this place we all share a fondness for. Definitely one of my favorite paddles in many years traveling through canoe country!

Midnight from the northern camp site on Englishman Island on Saganaga Lake from a couple weeks ago. A single shot from a couple hour time lapse of the night sky. This at this point was the latest I've been in the BWCA before and it was AMAZING. I enjoyed the fall up there so much I just got back from another 2 day trip last week. Much love!

Wow this photo is amazing. What kind of camera did you use? I’ve struggled with long exposure night shots like this, but of course I only use an iPhone :)
