I received my maps today and noticed this entry point. A few launches (Canadian, US) a day are allowed. Does this mean there is a road (gravel, etc) that one can take to actually launch from there? I don't see any other meaning but it just doesn't seem right. I know the Ranger station that services this entry point is Prairie Portage.

No roads in Quetico. You paddle and portage from Prairie Portage.

Thanks. Why is there an entry point on Kahshahpiwi Lake? Only so many a day allowed to enter the lake?

You are correct. If you visit the Quetico website, you can get the details.

I'll do just that, and post a link for future searchers. Thanks!
