Ragged, WAY TO GO! To where should we all send the money? You could post here, or email everyone.
dave and curly, email me with your addresses. I can't get your email off the site for some reason.
GOOD JOB EVERYBODY! We should be able to feel it on the portages, right? Losing 30 pounds is like going from 70's Grumman to rental kevlar!
The prize money comes out differently than when I did it before. I need a volunteer to make sure I included everyone and to check the math. Before I thought the winner would get 195, now it's 165, no big deal, but I want to make sure I got everyone. For the record, no money has changed hands yet, nor have I received any payments from participants.

Well.....I'm DEFINITELY not a "Leader." Only lost 10lbs. From 292 to 282, so according to my calculations 3.42%? Been struggling with fluid retention, which doesn't help. Where do I send my money?

I went from 280 to 265.
The only thing I did was not eat after 9pm till 9am.
I had a hip replacement on March 29... I then went back into the hospital on April 26 with a staff infection
I had another hip replacement on April 27 and again on April 29. Been home since may 2nd....Not much time to get any exercise. Will be using a Walker till give or take July 15 when they will go back and put in another new hip.
So I will keep trying to loose weight as summer progresses......you could say I lost 180 lbs. As I am going to give this doctor his walking papers

To all: These are good numbers! At your current rate imagine what you'll achieve by end of summer. What counts is you're going in the right direction. That would include lundojam. 10% counts! Own up.
This is not an easy challenge but it's a win-win accomplishment.
tomke17, you have a great attitude. Hope opens the door.

I’d lost 10, but then recently started exercising more and I’m up a couple with that.
Oh well...could have crushed this last year. Now, it’s a bit tougher, but I’m off to my first 5k this morning. That’s a win.

Congrats all! I dropped from 250 to 220 over the past year. Prediabetic blood levels (and high blood pressure) in March and peripheral neuropathy in my feet led to some needed lifestyle changes. With the drop in weight my blood pressure is down and my pants no longer fit; tis a good thing!

I weighed in this morning, but haven't been able to get my phone onto my home internet today. I will try going to my dad's this afternoon and send the picture.
However, I went from 233.5 down to 199.0 lbs. 14.78% loss and I am so proud I dropped below 200 lbs. Been a really, really long time since that happened. Even though this challenge is done, I am continuing to use the LoseIt app and plan to drop another 19 lbs. this summer.
Great job everyone!

Congrats to everybody!
I’d ask that whatever is supposed to be coming my way be sent to this site or your choice of BWCA related non-profit. If you donate to BWCA.com please make sure to select the no sticker/T-shirt option as I’d like the site to NET the entire donation. If a few people want to send theirs to Lundojam to cover the Rapalas that would be great too.
Thanks for setting this up Lundojam, the public accountability is a big motivator to stay on course.
Still got a ways to go, about 40-50lbs more but I’m safely out of the uncomfortable zone and that’s a good feeling, plus it’s like Christmas as I have all sorts of kickbutt camp clothing that fits again without looking like Chris Farley fat man in a little coat.

Congrats Ragged and all the winners! Very generous to donate your proceeds, Ragged! I’ll get on that task.
If I am correct I think straighthairedcurly is the winner on the female side of things. Big congrats!
Thanks for organizing Lundo!
I would say let’s do it again next year, but I’m hoping I’ll have retired from such challenges by then. (But who knows.)

Well done everyone. Some impressive results here.
I've been slowly working on making some small lifestyle changes to get in front of my weight gain. About this time last year I was at 212 on the scale and feeling VERY out of shape. I knew that its never going to get easier to lose weight and that I'm much better off making the changes now but it still wasn't an easy task to start. At some point I finally made the leap but started small. I'm mainly made small sustainable changes:
1. Cut out almost all soda - only drink the occasional diet coke but its rare
2. Reduce the amount of sugar I eat - I have a serious sugar addiction so this is the hardest part.
3. Portion control at dinner - this has gotten easier over time as I've trained my body what dinner should look like.
4. Replacing snacks with healthier options - a lot more apples and nuts.
5. Exercise - first day out I struggled to run an 1/8 of a mile and that is coming from someone that was a competitive runner in college. I'm still not in great shape and won't be setting any speed records but I'm running 2 miles now and have gained some of my strength back.
After all of that I'm now down to 197, hoping to get to 190-195. I'm hoping these changes were made slow enough and stuck with long enough that they stick and become more of my new lifestyle versus a short lived diet.

WOW! You may be a "Loser" in weight, but you are most certainly a "Winner" in my book!

I forgot to check back in, I am down to 296. So I lost 21 lbs. Not in the money but I'm happy, I think I can keep this lifestyle going. I will make a donation to the site. Thanks everybody.

Nice job sticking with it! Yeah it’s slowed a bit here as well but hit 239 this morning so it’s still coming off a little at a time.

Hey everyone! Sorry I disappeared. Got to go on two BW trips...2.5 weeks on the water over about 4 weeks. Been busy.
I did't weigh in as I knew I would lose on %. My best number was around 20 but really I was closer to 10 at end of contest. Holding steady around 15 down now.
Somebody please PM me details for how to pay up. Checking email more than forum for a few days.
Congrats to winners and best wishes to all!!

Just wanted to post an update. Just returned from our 8 day trip and I felt awesome. At 50 lbs. lost and in better shape than I've been in 15 years the trip went great. Thanks for having run this challenge, it really worked for me!

Nice job man!
I’m down another 10 since June, pretty slow going at this point but still plugging away at it.

Yep, the rate has slowed for me too, but still slowly coming off.
