Way cool. Makes me want to load the kids up in the station wagon and take a little drive to Gavins Point to see the aquarium.

Wow, that fish was hatched in 1907 if my math is correct. Still going strong. That is amazing.

How crazy huh? I just read something about these fish and they are huge too. Then I had to look up Sturgeon size and those things are also massive. It is crazy the size of some of these fish up here.

There was a recent story about this long-lived species on Minnesota Public Radio. I'd like to see them protected.
