I nicked up my ski boat in high winds the other day. Does this need to be addressed? I don't think it gouged much fiberglass.

I buffed the edges to limit gelgoat cracks. Is this an easy DIY project?

Yes it is. Mix up a small batch of gel,dab into the area well leaving it proud, then lay waxed paper or clear packaging tape over it. When it's cured sand flush starting at about 180 grit then 320,600,1000, and then 1200; buff for a perfect shine.
All that said you may not have a buffer etal, so fill , tape cure, peel tape, paddle.
If you're near the twin cities I'd be happy to help or do it for you.
