Michigan is a beautiful state. I shopped properties there, but bought in Maine. Being an OSU alum, I signed the required contract to talk trash about Michigan, but I appreciate Michigan too much to put much feeling into it.

Ha ha nice. I become a huge OSU fan once a year, whenever they play U of M!

Very good and interesting report with top quality pictures. I have seen some of this area you covered and remember things by reading this report. Thanks.

I had looked at the photos of your trip several days ago, but this afternoon I took the time to read your very well-written report. It is an area where we have been, so that always helps, but the way you told your story made me feel like I was along on the trip. (except for the fishing parts, as we dont' fish.)

How did you like to Royalex? That's what I'm renting too. Have paddled Kevlar many times but thought I'd try something different. I know it's heavier but I'm going easy on portages.
