Morning... paddling at 1.5 mph and single portaging... what's a realistic time frame to get to the northeast point of Cummings Lake with entry at Crab Lake on Burntside? Never been in this area before. Thanks.

Are you paddling from the public launch on Burnside? We did it last September. On the water about 7-7:30 I think, quick lunch at the site on little crab, made the NE island site on Cummings maye 2-2:30ish. One tandem, one solo, single portaged some, portage and a half on the long ones.
I'll double check my times later in my notebook but I think that's close.

Just talked to DNR, probably on June 15 the VanVac access will be
closed until September
Good luck for any one heading that way for parking and paddling a
few extra miles.

Yeah, construction may impact your entry spot. Maybe try and get a tow?
