Here's a shot revealing a bit more of the lake - and a mayfly - in the rain. 3 portages access Lake 124, and it holds multiple campsites.

Lake 124 is an Entry Point lake. Here's a shot from one of the portage landings - not the EP landing.
For the adventurous, there are some historical remnants located near this lake.

It's over 2 miles, actually - 714rd. We visited via Gun, Gull, Home from the north back in '08. It's a really beautiful lake! We didn't find the fire tower and cabin remnants - I think we had faulty info that it was above the rock face on the west side of the lake.
