Wood Lake to Fall Lake day trip

I have just a couple days left at Fall Lake Campground. Fishing has been slow and tomorrow is predicted rainy so I am planning a trip for Monday. Wood> Hula> Good> Hoist Bay> Back Bay> Pipestone Bay> Newton> Fall. Any advice regarding trip, route, portage, time??

Its a bit dated but, days 7-8 of this trip report covers that area.

Great trip report! Sounds like a great route I'll have to investigate.

What can you tell about the location of pictos on Jackfish Bay?

We never got to see them. But, they were just discovered fairly recently.
