Buddy of mine was out chasing storms earlier this AM and this happened. I can't recall seeing one closer that wasn't a tree. underwear change

I do not have good luck with lighting. One time lighting hit the tree next to our house and it traveled though our house wires and came out an outlet in the bathroom. I watched it float as a lighting ball across the room and go into a tv. That was crazy

Another time I was looking out our window and saw a car driving by and lighting hit the car! It was nuts!

Lighting hit our big cotton wood tree in front of our house and we had to pay a lot to remove it.

One time it was a cloudy day so I was in my hammock chair in the backyard. I felt the hairs on my arms go up and before I could do anything it it hit a tree in the field about 8 feet from me. There was no storms in the area at all. 3 minutes later radar showed a storm form right over my house.

Another time lighting hit our apple tree. After the storm was gone I went out and found the Fulgurites.

I watched ball lighting in the BWCA.. that was amazing

lastly we had lighting it a tree in camp. That was scary.

LOL! Our theory is our property is the tallest point in 5 miles so it attracts lightning. As for the other times I have no idea. My favorite lighting is ball lighting. I have seen 2 or 3 it is amazing.
