We are doing well! Oldest is graduating high school this year, but she has already been doing college for 2 years. We have a new puppy who is 4 months old and will be a great canoeing pal.

I feel like my immediate family is in one big transition right now:

I am transitioning into a new job. Not a new career just employers. Moving from the public sector back to the private. My wife is actively looking for something new as well. Our 20 year old son doesn’t have a clue what he wants in life but is working full-time. Sort of job hopping trying to find that “thing”. Our daughter continues her high school education.

Weird times right now. Weird. Faith really helps keep us grounded and focused. Trusting in Him to provide our daily bread.

Doing well now but had a rough fall. We fostered a couple of children who had been abused by a mom’s boyfriend. That and the weird state of the church post-Covid has taken getting used to. Many folks seem to think church family is not essential.
I’ve been granted a sabbatical this year and hope to start it in June with a good long trip up north. Also supposed to go to the country of Georgia to train a group of pastors.
Looking forward to a good year!
