This summer I had my BWCA trip permit cancelled due to the fires just a few days before we were to leave. I quickly learned about the Sylvania Wilderness and did a re-set with a trip there which we thoroughly enjoyed. I made a video of our trip cancellation/new adventure. Hope you enjoy it.

Something not often mentioned is the backpacking potential. You can backpack into most if not all campsites. Hiking thru old growth forests is quite an experience.

Nice video, I have been visiting this area for over 25 years. I have a cabin in N. Wisconsin about one hour away. Glad to hear that they Sylvania helped salvage your BW trip.
